My thesis project examined the way family members stay in touch when living apart. For Across the Table, I developed an interactive camera system to link two households as a way for family members to share everyday activities. For the Presence Objects project, I created two reactive surfaces which responded to the flow of objects and people's activities in different places. These projects explored people's perceptions of technology and emotional connection in the intimate space of the home.
