This was an experiment in tactile interaction. A bowl of inky black water sits under a single light. Touching the surface of the water with a brush brings words from out of the blackness on the adjacent screen. The more ripples in the water, the more words are revealed. I used a webcam attached just beneath the light to read the surface of the water and detect reflections.
